Do you think sexism contributes to the adoption industry?

Little girls in particular are taught, from year dot, that being a Mummy is the best and most important thing.

In certain parts of society women are considered a uterus on legs, before they are considered a person.

Is that why some people find it so impossible to accept infertility?

Male or female, it really doesn’t matter – you are a complete person, regardless of the ability to reproduce.

  2. I don’t feel like a complete person due to my reproductive disability. It’s reinforced by the ideas that being a parent is the most important job in the world and that a person doesn’t know love until they have kids.
